John Adams High School is a proposed Douglas County 9th through 12th grade public, no tuition, charter high school. The school is planning to open in Fall 2017.
Initially, JAHS is expected to open with Freshmen and Sophomore classes and will grow to include junior and senior classes. But Junior and Senior classes will be considered depending on demand.
While John Adams High School is being organized primarily as a feeder high school for the area K through 8th grade charter schools, all students may participate in the open enrollment process regardless of where they attend middle school.
John Adams High School students will be required to work hard to meet our high academic standards. Even though the school may provide support, it is anticipated that such work will largely be the responsibility of the student and their family. We are confident all students will succeed if they put forth the effort.
